Join us for an evening of Green Board Games at University of Stavanger! The Greenhouse invites everyone – faculty members and students – to come try out board games with environmental themes. These games are not only fun, but also have the potential to shape environmental thinking and knowledge.

The event is free and The Greenhouse will provide pizza and soft drinks (including vegetarian options – contact us if you have other dietary requirements!).

The event takes place on Monday 17 February 2020, from 18:00 – 21:00, in the IKS lunch room, Hulda Garborgs hus, N-236.

We will have tables set up with the following games that people can try. Most are fairly short, so it should be possible to try 2-3 different games during the event.

– Wingspan (Stonemaier Games, 2019)
– Settlers of Catan: Crop Trust Scenario (Catan GmbH, 2018)
– Settlers of Catan: Oil Springs Scenario (Catan GmbH, 2011)
– Parks (Keymaster Games, 2019)
– Arboretum (Renegade Game Studios, 2015)
– Evolution: Climate (North Star Games, 2016)
– Bosk: A Game of Majestic Trees and Falling Leaves (Floodgate Games, 2019)
– Terraforming Mars (FryxGames, 2016)
– Reef (Next Move Games, 2018)

For descriptions of the games, if you are unfamiliar with them, look them up on boardgamegeek.com.
