Anne Claus, Assistant Professor of Anthropology at American University (USA), presented her new book <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upress.umn.edu\/book-division\/books\/drawing-the-sea-near\">Drawing the Sea Near: Satoumi and Coral Reef Conservation in Okinawa<\/a><\/em> (University of Minnesota Press, 2020) in the Greenhouse environmental humanities book talk series on Monday, 22 March 2021, at 16:00 in Norway \/ 11:00 US Eastern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This richly detailed, engagingly written ethnography focuses on Okinawa\u2019s coral reefs to explore an unusually inclusive, experiential, and socially just approach to conservation. C.
